The Adolescent AIDS Program Children's Hospital at Montefiore is a comprehensive medical and mental health program for HIV-positive youth and young adults ages 13-24 as well as providing free and confidential HIV counseling and testing and low cost STD screen to at-risk and LGBTQIA+ youth and young adults in New York City. Additional services include AIDS research, outreach, workshops, trainings, presentations, peer education program, mobile HIV testing, community-based research and AIDS education training center. We recommend training by a trusted instructor on Implicit Bias in Healthcare, De-Escalation, Transgender and Non-Binary patient affirmation, and Intersectionality.
